Recent researches indicate that it is indeed the Happiness that leads to success, not the other way round. Let’s make our patients Smile for confidence and Success ...
Cosmetic dentistry is a modern art and science behind smiles. Dark and Discolored teeth, can be treated with teeth whitening by chemically activated or light activated whitening gel or even with laser, unhappy smiles, Caries, gap and fractured teeth can be managed with Direct or indirect composites and veneers, Gummy smiles can be corrected by laser. Co2and other laser lonely can change the color of Unpleasant gum within few days, Implant and resin reinforced indirect composite can be a better options then bridge works for a missing tooth. Orthodontic can cure crowded, protrusive unhappy face. Crown can be delayed or even unnecessary if we can filled the cavity with fiber optic screw post reinforced composite after root canal treatment even in molar tooth. After mentioned procedure, we are able to correct all of the patient’s concerns and achieve a great cosmetic result depending on the socioeconomic conditions of South East Asia. The patient loves new smile and teeth and feels they fit his/her personality and idea of perfection. The procedure was smooth and predictable by following the proper protocol.
Some Dentists still believe that it (Aesthetic or Cosmetic Dentistry) is a ‘violation of the Hippocratic Oath’ to disturb ‘Healthy’ tooth structure, even if the patient is unhappy with their esthetics, and that we should ‘talk them out of elective treatment’. There are some in our profession, however, that view elective dental procedures as “unethical” and “unnecessary.” Who really should decide when such treatment is justified? How wide must the diastema be, or how unaesthetic the smile? In this modern era of Dentistry, we now have the responsibility to not only diagnose and treat dental disease, but to offer solutions for cosmetic dental problem as well. Remember its only a “good tooth” if the patient is happy. As a profession we must remember, we treat not only teeth, but also the person to which they belong.
Weknows the impact of smile on someone’s life and self confidence, brings his talents and experience with cosmetic dentistry from his early time of teaching and maintains a state-of-the-art practice. We want to specialty-trained dentist to create some of the most recognizable smiles in the world and known throughout country as a dentist to the stars, he has the dental skills and artistic ability to give a movie-star smile.
This year I become the president of South Asian Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry and a member of the AAAD, and other major dental organizations. I am now in Editorial Board of MICD Journal is a peer-reviewed online international journal and cosmeticdentistry _beauty & science Published by Dental Tribune. We focuses on providing comprehensive minimal invasive or noninvasive dental care using safe techniques that have proven effective.
Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry offers a great variety of options to help people obtain a radiant, beautiful and attractive smile. A charming smile can, not only improve a person’s self-esteem and self-confidence, but also enhanced the way in which he or she is perceived by others. All this is possible by the process of continuing dental education of the dental surgeon, which enhances his knowledge by keeping abreast with the most recent scientific and technological advances in the world. This has been the primary objective of the BAAD.
The BAAD from its inception in 2009 has strived towards achieving high standards in aesthetic dentistry to satisfy the needs of a demanding society, which is focused on aesthetics more than ever before. The Academy has hence been organizing Hands on training, workshops, courses, lectures, community projects, scientific programmes etc. throughout to achieve this objective. The BAAD has blossomed due to the dedication and commitment of its Board of Governors who have worked tirelessly for the success of each and every event undertaken.
This is the decimal year of theBAAD – celebrating its 5th Anniversary. The organizing Committee is putting up a great effort for a grand dental show at the Sessions themed Conservative to Creative: an aesthetic shift by 2014.It is my sublime promise that, in this year too, the BAAD shall commit herself to serve our profession better than before. This is yet another attempt by the Academy to broaden its frontiers to bring together those who practice Aesthetic and Cosmetic dentistry and to encourage sharing of knowledge through education and friendship. You come, you lean, you perform! Training and Technology Transfer is our motto.
It is my wish that this venture on the World Wide Web will give an access to more resources to the members of the BAAD as well as an international voice for the Academy.
In closing, I am delighted to welcome you again to the official site of BAAD and look forward to your contribution to the improvement of the profession and welfare to the community.
